BeltLine News Music Spotlight: Big Skii
By The BeltLine News | October 25, 2026
Atlanta has a new voice cutting through the noise, and her name is Big Skii.
Known on Instagram as @officialbigskii, the Atlanta artist has spent 2026 stacking releases, stages, and moments — and right now, she has two projects out for the world to hear.
The Music
Skii's current run starts with "GOMP," the single she pushed through the summer, including a version featuring Karina J linked in her bio. Then came "THAT SOUND" in August, now with a remix out as well.
But the centerpiece is "COLD WORLD," her EP released September 18, 2026. She introduced it to fans as a set of songs telling her story — and she's kept the run going since, with the track "SWEATIN" arriving as part of the Cold World wave in October.
Her momentum is visible: a recent mic-drop clip of hers crossed 160K, and her catalog is live on Apple Music and UnitedMasters through the links in her bio.
On Stage
Skii isn't just recording — she's outside. In August she co-hosted Exotic Mondays in Riverdale on the Southside, and in September she took one of her biggest stages yet at The Tip Off basketball tournament and day party. She also stepped into the cypher circuit earlier this year, appearing on episode 14 of the Reel Raw Cypher.
Why We're Watching
Atlanta's music scene moves fast, and Skii is moving with it — new music, real stages, and a fanbase that keeps showing up. With "GOMP" and "COLD WORLD" both out now, this is the moment to tap in.
