COMMUNITY FEATURE: END OF THE HALL
Where Brands Grow — The Curated Market Giving Atlanta Startups a First Storefront
By Noah Sanders, The BeltLine News — October 23, 2026
Every startup hits the same wall: you've got the product, you've got the hustle, but you don't have a store. Rent is too high, leases are too long, and an online shop can only take a young brand so far.
At the end of a hall in Old Fourth Ward, that wall has a door in it.
End Of The Hall is a curated vendor market at 700 McGruder Street NE, Unit C — inside the historic Sampson Lofts, steps off the Atlanta BeltLine's Eastside Trail. It opened this year, and its promise to Atlanta's smallest businesses is right there on its website: "We're not just a market. We're where brands grow."
A Launchpad, Not a Landlord
The model is built for people starting from zero:
• Flat fee, zero commission. In the market's own words, "every dollar you sell is yours to put back into your brand." No percentage taken off the top of a young business's best day.
• They provide the tables. A first-time vendor doesn't need to own a single piece of equipment to show up and sell.
• Apply once, stay in rotation. Vendors apply through the website one time and get kept in the loop for upcoming markets. Rotations change daily, so a brand can come back again and again — and shoppers get a new market every visit.
• They count the crowd — for the vendors. This spring the market started using a door counter to track foot traffic and do market research for its sellers. By its own count, even a slow, cold weekend still drew 1,000-plus people through the space.
• Free promotion, built in. The market runs a Vendor Highlight video series putting individual small businesses in front of its audience of more than 10,000 followers.
The result so far: more than 300 makers and brands have sold at End Of The Hall, per the market — vintage and streetwear labels, jewelers, artists, candle and tea makers, bakers, coffee carts, and hot sauce brands, many of them selling face-to-face for the first time.
And when the room gets a famous visitor, the vendors feel it. This spring the market thanked rapper Westside Gunn for coming through and "cashing out" some of its vendors on vintage — celebrity foot traffic that ends up in small businesses' pockets.
Faith at the Center
End Of The Hall is run by Nick Turin and his wife, Tiana, and they don't hide what fuels it. "Jesus loves you" is in the market's bio, on its signage, and at the top of its flyers. In a birthday post this April, Tiana shared that every day before the market opens, she gets on her hands and knees and prays over the space and every person who will walk into it.
The door is open in both directions: the market's page invites anyone to DM them — "Have questions about Jesus? Do you need prayer? Don't hesitate to reach out."
More Than a Market
The community programming keeps growing:
• Art Night, Wednesdays — a free evening of local artists, a DJ set, and coffee and mocktails, with an open invitation for more artists to get in on this one or the next.
• Vesta Market — End Of The Hall now takes the model on the road, running outdoor vendor markets with Vesta Fitboxing on the BeltLine at 665 Auburn Ave NE, capped at just 10 vendor spots a Saturday so every seller gets seen.
• WABE's Get Out There has already spotlighted the market as a BeltLine stop worth making.
Even the building is becoming a hub: tomorrow night, the same McGruder Street address hosts the Off The Line ATL Halloween Costume Party in Unit H — one more sign this stretch off the Eastside Trail is turning into a home for Atlanta's independent scene.
Why It Matters
Atlanta talks a lot about supporting small business. End Of The Hall is doing the unglamorous version of it: a room, a table, real foot traffic, and a fee structure that lets a brand keep what it earns. For shoppers, entry is always free. For a maker with a dream and a folding table's worth of inventory, it might be the first storefront they ever get.
That's not just retail. That's infrastructure — built at the end of a hall, by a family that prays over it every morning.
